New Guy [open/titans]

A new face moved through the halls, mostly hidden behind two large cardboard boxes. His eyes poked out over the stacked boxes he was carrying, preventing him from running into stuff.
Irazehl grunted, laying the last of his moving boxes onto his new bed. This was why he hated moving: all the hard work involved. It wasn't even his idea to transfer here from steel city. He was talked into it by the person closest to being called his 'father'.

"It will be good for you, fight some new villains for once" Speedy had said. "Not to mention you'll be able to work with more people."
Ug... He was not looking forward to that. In teen titans east. They respected his wishes to work alone... well.. most of the time. He planned on solo vigilante work as soon as he became too old for the TT. That didn't mean he didn't have his place as part of the team, though. He worked quite efficiently and effectivley as part of the team, he just felt less comfortable that way.

"Oh well... when life hands me lemons, I'll make beef stew." He said, as he lay in his new bed, which still lacked sheets. "I wonder if they are planning on some kind of welcome party... or special greeting of some kind... They didn't even seem to care I had arrived. Hmm... I wonder if they didn't even notice me, sometimes Im sneaky on accident." He thought to himself quietly. He moved the boxes out of his view onto the floor,and looked out his open door, half expecting to see many curious eyes watching him

Although she wasn't sure about her teamates, Athena knew her eyes had watching the new Titan member as she halted by his open door. The shape shifter studied the dirty-blonde haired new Titan. The peirced super heroine could see the male's eyes were green, although little else was visible in the room, even to her keen eyesight. Perhaps it was a trick of the light, or maybe it was something to do with this - what was his name again - Irazehl's powers. Or Green Ninja, whaever he wanted to be called.

Shift was, however, unable to fathom someone wanting to be called green anything; she certainly had detested it when people refered to her with 'green' in the title. But whatever made the supposed ninja happy, the shape shifter supposed. Who was she to snipe about others' choices? He probably had parents who could do that for him; and if he didn't, well, more power to him.

The Titan leader nodded in greeting to Irazehl, hovering at the edge of the doorway. "Welcome to the Tower, Irazehl. I'm sorry I wasn't able to greet you personally - there was a...slight problem that I had to take care of." Shift paused, wondering how the newest Titan would react to her green fur, multiple face and ear peircings, and her long teeth. Most only flinched for a few days if she grinned at them early on. "I trust you were already given a tour by one of the other Titans?"

"I wonder if even the towers defense system noticed me." Irazehl mused as he lulled over the general nonchalante behavior of the titans before. "No... noone gave me the tour, though it was nice of you guys to mark this room for me with the sign" He said, getting up from his bed and extending a hand forward as if to shake her hand, but as he turned his hand up, it was exposed that he had a small amount of soil in his hand. Before he was questioned for this strange behavior, a small green plant sprouted and bloomed in a beautiful blue flower.

"Please don't call me by my name, Im going for the two lives thing, so... yeah... I'd like to still be able to live a normal life on the side. For you." He added, handing the green teenager the flower.
"I'm known as the green ninja. Green because of my use of plants, ninja because of my practices and dress. I would perfer to be called Green if the name isn't already taken."

Athena blinked and oogled in surprise as the flower - as oddly colored as she herself was, because she had never seen such a pretty blue flower - was grown and handed to her in the course of a few seconds. Shift had read Irazehl's record, of course - he could control plants, and to a weaker level earth. Which made her wonder, suddenly a bit irrate with herself, why she hadn't seen something like this coming. Holding the flower in her gloved hand, Shift stared at it for a moment, then glanced at the stocky male. "...Thank you."

"And no, the name Green hasn't been used yet.", Athena answered, wondering what in the world her team had actually done for this guy. She had been expecting at least one of her more experienced teammates to have been hanging around, hopefully having shown the ninja the ropes. But no - she was left to do it. "And I can show you around, since none of my other teammates seem to have thought of that.", the shape shifter added, slightly annoyed. Why was she always left to do everything? Oh, right - she was their leader.

At least he had been let in by security, which automatically checked everyone who came and went in the Tower against Teen Titan DNA sample - living, dead, current or former. And Irazehl was a Titan, however new. One who liked to use flattery, the peirced teenager noted - comparing notes against her other teammates, most of whom wouldn't know sublety if it hit them with a brick.

Irazehl happened to notice how her eyes kinda lit up at the flower. He wondered if she had done her homework, as he had.
"I would love a tour." Irazehl replied with a smile, as he walked through the open door. "Just let me decorate, real quick." He turned to face in the room again.
As he made a slow upward motion with his hand. Coarse leafless vines sprouted from the four pots of soil he had set in the corners of his room. Within seconds his room was covered in the vines, which then grew leaves and flowering plants. He breathed out a sigh and breathed in the sweet scent.
"Shall we go then?" He asked, turning around.

"Okay, then. We can start off with the training room and meeting room, since you would have walked through the living room on your way here.", Shift said, glancing over her shoulder to see where Irazehl was as she walked down the hallway. Pausing to drink in the sight of the now leafy, flower and earth-scented room, she waited for green to remember the tour and catch up.

She had read his file, of course, but descriptions on a computer screen were much different than seeing them in real life, with her own eyes. Much more impressive; Athena had assumed irazehl had been boasting, although if the guy could do that in such a short time, then maybe he hadn't been.

Irazehl had effectively distracted himself from the tour. He had created his own safe haven, a personal heaven of a room, All he needed where his beautiful creations around him, a pure delight to his senses. He was used to being around his own plants, and until he had given a room this treatment it didn't really feel like 'home'. The creation and manipulation of plants had become second nature to him, and many felt it was overused in daily life.
By the time he had realized his tour was on hold , he had to run to catch up with his guide. Moving in would have to wait a little longer.

About five seconds later, he was again distracted by something that was sure to be the cause of much amusement: the training room. Looking through a thick peice of shatterproof glass, he saw some new and some outdated equipment. Overall, he was quite impressed and wanted to try it out.
"Seeing as I was already a titan before I came here, I don't suppose you're going to make me take a skills assessment today?" He said, eyeing his new playground, silently hoping he would.

Athena raised one thin eyebrow, glancing surreptiously over at Irazehl. "Seeing you fight on tape and hearing of it by word of mouth are very different than seeing it real-life and up close. In fact - if you wouldn't mind, of course - I'd like to see you run through an exercise sometime soon in here.", she said, glancing back into the training room as she finished speaking. Her eyes trailed the mechanical aspects - the weights, bell-pull, and some things she couldn't name or even figure out what they did - that the teenager realized she hadn't ever used much.

She wasn't equipped with super-strength, and didn't have anything surprising in the way of regular strength. Athena shape-shifted, and that was it - and she hadn't thought of training differently until just then. 'Maybe that should change.', Shift thought to herself, eyeing the training things and the padded mats spread on one side of the room for sparring partners.

Irazehl shifted uncomfortably in his green robes. He was really looking forward to trying out the combat simulation room, in the back of the room. That could wait though. He turned and faced Athena, waiting to see the meeting room.

Shift turned away from the window to the training room, continuing down the hallway after a few seconds. "And down here is the meeting room - usually it's empty, unless someone calls a meeting or wants to talk about something important to the rest of the team.", the shape shifter explained promtly, pressing a button on the side panel next to the sleek door. It was labeled 'Meeting Room'; most of the doors in the Titans' Tower were labeled, because it was so hard for even the original members to find everything after all the different teams that had lived in the Tower had moved everything.

"Usually it's here that the mayor or other important people communicate with us, if not just face to face.", she continued, gesturing to the large, flat-screen tv on one wall. There was a large, rectangular table with chairs around it in the middle of the room, and consoles with many a button along another length of wall.
